11/17/2005 GENEREX BIOTECHNOLOGY RETAINS WASHINGTON, D.C. – BASED LOBBYIST TO PURSUE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ORAL INSULIN & ITS AVIAN FLU VACCINE

TORONTO, Canada – November 17, 2005 – Generex Biotechnology Corporation (NasdaqSC: GNBT) announced today that it has retained Washington, D.C. – based Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A. (www.strtrade.com) to provide assistance in connection with the Company’s global clinical, regulatory, and commercialization program for Oral-lyn™, its proprietary oral insulin spray product, and in connection with the Antigen Express avian flu vaccine program. ST&R will assist the Company with White House and Congressional relations, relationships with administrative agencies, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, and relationships with foreign governments. ST&R will also assist in the Company’s efforts to access governmental and private funding sources.
